The Yancar's have been selling pre-owned cars in Pinellas County for decades! The first Yancar's Used Cars was opened in 1954 by my grandfather, Vincent Yancar, Sr. right down the street from our current location (1345 S. Ft Harrison Ave. Clearwater, Fl. 33756). In 1971, my father, Vincent Yancar, Jr., took over the family business and ran it for 51 years before he retired in 2022. I, Greg Yancar proudly took over Yancar's Used Cars on August 1, 2022 and I look forward to being as successful as my Dad and Grandpa were!

I, was literally born and raised in the car business. After working with my dad for several years as a young man, I decided to learn more about the car business by exploring the world of franchise dealerships. I have over 12 years of experience working in franchise dealerships. I started as a Salesman and moved up to New Car Manager, Used Car Manager, F&I Manager, and Sub-Prime Manager. Over the years, I have learned a lot through my experiences from our family dealership and at large corporate dealerships, about buying, selling, financing and how to treat customers and I wanted to use all this knowledge to open my own store, Just as my Grandpa and Dad had done. So, in August 2009, I opened my own dealership Yancar and Sons Auto Sales on Seminole Blvd. in Largo Fl. ironically Just 4 miles from my dads dealership. We made a successful car dealership, helping folks in securing auto financing and selling hundreds and hundreds of cars over the years. It was our honor to make many friends, contacts and lifelong customers along the way!

When my father announced his retirement in 2022, I couldn't stand to see our family business of 68 years die. So I got with my dad and made a plan to take over and keep Yancar's Used Cars going as my father did before with his father. On August 1, 2022 I Greg Yancar took over Yancars Used Cars as President/Owner and closed my down My own business Yancar and Sons Auto Sales after 13 great years! We look forward to keep selling vehicles to all of OUR GREAT PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS and MAKING NEW FRIENDS AND CUSTOMERS in the years to come!

As part of my business plan, I wanted to stress all the important things I'd learned over the years, such as:

 * Treat the customers the way I want to be treated when I'm buying something,
 * Never sell a vehicle I wouldn't put my own family in first,
 * Sell better cars at better prices than my competition and
 * Be there for the customer not only during the sale, but after the sale as well.

Operating by these standards has worked very well for us over our last 13 years in business and now as the New President/Owner of Yancar's Used Cars I plan to keep these standards and we look forward to serving you in finding the right quality vehicle for you and your families.

Yancar's Used Cars Inc. is a family owned and operated business. My wife and I have three grown sons now and we couldn't be more proud of them! We know our children have learned the importance of hard work, responsibility, respect and education. As they go into there own business' and venture's, we hope they will take what they've learned from us on to bigger and better things or continue on as the 4th generation here at Yancar's Used Cars Inc.
